Watch companies you care about

A watchlist lets you follow specific companies, such as prospects, customers or competitors. When one of them changes, for example a new director, a new owner, new secured lending, a move of registered office or an insolvency, it appears in a Your watchlist section at the top of your alert email.

Add companies

• On any company page, click Watch. Click it again to stop watching.
• Or open Watchlist and paste company numbers, one per line or separated by commas. You can paste a column straight from a spreadsheet, such as your customer list.

If a number is not recognised, or your list is full, we tell you which ones were not added.

How many companies you can watch

When you hear about changes

Changes arrive in your normal alert email, at the cadence you chose (daily or weekly, or instant on Pro and Business). You do not get a separate email. If nothing on your watchlist has changed, the section is left out. You get the email even if you have no saved searches.

Your Watchlist page shows every company you follow with its latest signal, so you can check at any time.

Things to know

• Only changes from the day you start watching are sent. Earlier history is on each company page.
• If you turn your alert emails off, watchlist updates stop too.
