Find companies like your best customers

    1 min read

Lookalikes turns a list of your best customers into a search. Paste their company numbers and NewcoSignal shows what they have in common, lists similar established companies, and can alert you to new companies like them.

    How to use it

    1. Open Lookalikes (under Research when you are signed in).
    2. Paste 3 to 50 company numbers, one per line or separated by commas. A column copied from a spreadsheet works.
    3. Click Find similar companies.

    What you see

    • What they have in common: the sector, area, size and age that most of your companies share, with how many of them share it, for example "Construction, 3 of 4".
    • Similar established companies: active companies with the same traits. Your own customers are left out of this list.

If a trait does not fit, click its cross to ignore it and the list updates. If your companies do not share a clear sector or area, try a more focused group, such as your customers in one sector.

Turn it into an alert or a watchlist

    • Alert me to new companies like these creates a saved search for the shared sector and area, so new companies like your customers arrive in your alert email. You can edit it under Saved Searches. It counts towards your plan's saved searches.
    • Watch these companies adds your customers to your watchlist, so you hear when one of them changes.

    Plans

Everyone can see the shared traits. The free plan shows a preview of similar established companies; Pro and Business show them all.
